Hi, I'm Sarah! I'm a mom to two energetic little boys (ages 2 and 4) and we live in Sacramento, though I'm originally from the Bay Area. Most weekends you'll find us cooking together, visiting the farmer's market, or biking as a family.

My passion for design started with my own home—after going through two full remodels (including one down to the studs!), I discovered how much joy and impact thoughtful spaces can bring. As I raised my children using the Montessori approach and later at a Montessori preschool, I learned how powerful a child’s environment could be.

This led me to design my children's bedrooms and play areas in a thoughtful Montessori-inspired approach, as well as our family kitchen and mudroom, to foster independence and creativity.

I love the Montessori approach because it allows children to surprise us with their capabilities. When we set up their environment to be accessible and functional, they become more confident, more independent, and more engaged with the world around them. It's a gift both for them and us as parents.
